Zonker Popcorn

This recipe is from the Ball Family Cookbook on page 470. Mom made this one time when Dan and Trisa were here. It is good! We ate most of it that night. Note that in the picture it doesn't look like anything is on the popcorn, but it is covered in yummy goodness!




Ingredients:

2 cubes butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
2/3 cup white corn syrup
dash of salt

Directions:

Bring to boil and boil for one minute. Pour over 2 gallons of popcorn.

This is our favorite kind of popcorn. We got in a bad habit of making it every Sunday and then eating it all!! Yummy!!

Does anyone know how much un-popped popcorn yeilds 2 gallons? 2 Cups?
