This is one of out favorite desserts. It's so simple to make and great for a quick treat like after FHE.
Ingredients:
Any flavor cake mix
Ice Cream
Toppings (optional)
Make the cake mix and instead of baking it pour some of the mix on to your waffle iron. Just like you were making actual waffles. Depending on you waffle iron the cook time varies. Mine takes about 2 minutes on medium setting. They cook really quick. The cake mix makes about 9 waffles on my iron. I store the ones we don't eat in a gallon size ziplock bag. These are best eaten warm! Enjoy!!

This is SUCH a cool idea! Melissa made them for us when we were out there. I just can't stop telling people about them. They were so good! (Love the plates!)
Yummy! I made these Last night for my kids and their friends they were having sleep over. I had no ice cream and wasn't about to go to the store with 6 kids. I had some frosting so we did that instead. I can't wait to have them with ice cream though.

Michelle, I think that you make them better. Maybe mine were't as good because of the ice cream. When I made it we only had vanilla. Next time I will have to try it with chocolate or minty ice cream!

We did try it for FHE and we all loved it. It was so fun to do. What a fast desert. We had chocolate cake mix with cookies and cream ice cream and all the fixings. Sugar Overload! YEAH!!!
