Pizza Dough
2 Tbls Honey
1 C. hot water
2 Tlbs active dry yeast
1/3 c. oil
3 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp salt
Directions:
Pour honey in medium size bowl. Add hot water (hot enough that you can barely touch it with bare hands) stir until honey is disolved. Add yeast and stir. Set bowl aside. In a larger bowl, add oil. Once yeast mixture has puffed up, dump that into the oil. Add salt, mix well. Gradually add flour until dough is smooth and elastic. Knead for 5-10 minutes. Place in large greased bowl, cover, and let rise about 1 hour until double. Punch down and let rise again (about 30-45 min).
Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees. Grease baking sheet. Roll our dough to fit pan. Using fork, poke holes all over dough to prevent air bubbles. Add sauce, cheese, and toppings. Our favorite sauce comes in a jar made by Ragu called "Pizza Sauce". :) We use about half of the jar and then put it in the fridge for next week's pizza.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until edges are golden brown.
Hope you like it!
